They are as soft as silk to the touch and are flexible and smooth and will easily go through fabric. DMC threads are exceptionally smooth, they don't snag, fray, break or knot whilst you are working with them. The threads use highly resistant dyes so the colour won't fade and designs sewn over 20 years will still retain their orginal vibrancy.
